Mela 2017
On January 28th 2017 Houston Jamaat held a very successful Mela. It was a well attended event with people from Dallas, San Antonio, Austin and of course Houstonians all contributed by their talents and their merchandise stalls.
Johar’s Place concentrated our efforts to raise funds for the Bhopal Attalim Upliftment project that we are currently promoting. We had received a great response from all the attendees. In addition to the generous response by many to the Bhopal upliftment project, Johar’s Place auctioned off a craft basket worth over 60 dollars. The funds from the raffle will be used to keep Johar’s Place activities going. Shezada Malikulashtar Bhaisaheb honored our booth with his presence and picked the winning raffle ticket for our beautiful craft basket won by Maryam ben Tyebji.
